After an initial shoulder injury due to a ski accident, numerous dislocations and an experimental surgical procedure, I was diagnosed with significant degenerative arthritis and advised to prolong shoulder replacement surgery.  With the expertise of Dr. Williams and a team of doctors and specialists, my range of motion has impressively increased.  As many parts of the upper body support and interact with the shoulder, a comprehensive spinal analysis was ordered.  That data suggested chiropractic treatments that provides increased range of motion and reduced pain.  Myofascial  release therapy reduces tightness in my back and shoulder, which loosens up the restricted motion and greatly eases the pain from the arthritis.

I have been able to sleep better with the use of Infrared, which provides advanced medical technology to reduce inflammation, keep muscles supple, and ease joint pain.  Additionally, Dr. Williams prescribed vitamins and nutrients to decrease inflammation and pain, and strengthen bone health and skeletal muscle tissue.   We know the body works together as a whole, and I appreciate that Athletics Sports Medicine considers integrated healthful treatments for my bone, joint and muscle performance.  I don’t see shoulder replacement surgery in the near future!!
